Frequently asked questions

Answers to questions people often ask about USOM Mail.

What does USOM Mail do?

It issues and manages receiving-only email addresses that people or AI agents use for signing up and identity verification, and lets you check the mail that arrives.

Can I send email?

There is no general sending. The service is focused on receiving and reading.

How many addresses can I use on the free plan?

The free plan allows up to 5 addresses, with 30-day mail retention. The free plan shows ads.

What is different about the paid plan?

The iOS yearly plan is currently planned. At launch it is expected to allow up to 50 addresses, extend retention to 360 days, and show no ads.

What is Agent Identity Mailbox?

It is the mechanism for an AI agent to obtain, via MPP payment, a receiving-only email address used for signing up to external services.

Can an AI agent use it over MCP?

Yes. The Remote MCP endpoint is https://server.kwonwe.com/mcp. It supports Streamable HTTP and authenticates with a USOM Agent Bearer Token.

What are the pricing and retention for AI agents?

0.05 pathUSD per address; up to 5 held per agent; a purchased address is retained for 30 days.

What should I do if mail does not arrive?

First wait about a minute, then check the address you entered and its retention deadline. Mail may also not arrive if the sending service rejects temporary addresses, or because of a delivery delay on the sender's side.

Does the mail disappear after 10 minutes?

No. The 10-minute mail is a remnant of the original idea. It is now a membership service with retention set according to your plan.
